“D” System American Sankey Coupler with pull lever handle is the most common Keg coupler system available in the U.S. and used by all the major breweries as well as most craft breweries. This keg coupler is constructed of a Chrome Plated Brass body with a Chrome Plated Brass Probe. The included black pull handle is suitable for 1/6 small dia Kegs. This D system coupler is easy to use – simply pull out and down on the lever handle to tap a keg.

US Sankey D System Coupler to dispense draft beer from the keg. Tap the keg with ease with this lever handle. Place the coupler base aligned over the valve. Pull the handle out and put it down to lock the coupler in this position. You can now enjoy an uninterrupted flow of your favourite beer.
D System keg couplers are also called American Sankey because they work with most North American kegs. USA and Canadian brands, like Budweiser, Busch, Coors Light, Killian’s, Labatt, Michelob, Miller Lite, Milwaukee’s Best, Molson, Moosehead, OV, Pete’s Wicked and Sam Adams use D-type keg valves.

- Ensure the coupler handle is in the upright (OFF) position.
- Align the coupler lugs with the matching openings on the keg valve.
- Turn the coupler clockwise until it locks securely in place.
- Push the handle down to the ON position.
- CO₂ enters the keg, and beer begins flowing through the beer line to the faucet.
Disconnect the keg coupler, clean it with a beer line cleaner, rinse properly, and dry before reinstalling.
Check seals and O-rings every 3–6 months or whenever you notice leaks. Replace worn seals to maintain proper performance.
Most coupler leaks are caused by worn O-rings, damaged seals, or loose hose connections. Check and replace faulty parts promptly.
