Flathead keg couplers require less vertical clearance to operate compared to regular draft beer dispensing couplers, which have the beer outlet positioned at the top. Low profile keg coupler also known as D system keg coupler has both beer and gas lines connections on the sides and a great innovation for space-saving and keg stacking.
US Sankey Keg Coupler Completely made of Stainless steel – so this D system keg coupler gives a 100% SS contact with the beer. The Krome D system keg coupler, also known as the American Sankey, works with most North American kegs and is NSF Certified. It is compatible with many USA and Canadian brands such as Budweiser, Busch, Coors Light, Killian’s, Labatt, Michelob, Miller Lite, Milwaukee’s Best, Molson, Moosehead, OV, Pete’s Wicked, and Sam Adams.

- Ensure the coupler handle is in the upright (OFF) position.
- Align the coupler lugs with the matching openings on the keg valve.
- Turn the coupler clockwise until it locks securely in place.
- Push the handle down to the ON position.
- CO₂ enters the keg, and beer begins flowing through the beer line to the faucet.
Disconnect the keg coupler, clean it with a beer line cleaner, rinse properly, and dry before reinstalling.
Check seals and O-rings every 3–6 months or whenever you notice leaks. Replace worn seals to maintain proper performance.
Most coupler leaks are caused by worn O-rings, damaged seals, or loose hose connections. Check and replace faulty parts promptly.
