It’s very easy to use just Drill a 1/2″ hole in the fermenter lid. Then insert the black grommet into the cover hole. Place the tapered tip of the airlock into the grommet hole to seal the bottle. Allows air bubbles to escape during the fermentation process while preventing oxygen from damaging your fermentation and beer brewing.

This 3-piece Fermentation Airlock is essential if you ferment in a carboy or bucket! Place this three-piece airlock over the carboy or fermenting vessel. It’s simple to operate and clean. Insert the drilled rubber stopper inside the airlock after filling it halfway with hand sanitizer while beer making process.
The yeast consumes the carbohydrates in the wort, producing carbon dioxide and alcohol. This lock permits one-way gas flow, allowing CO2 to escape while preventing ambient air from entering. These pieces are cleaned and sanitized separately using small brushes. This is necessary to prevent oxidation once the fermentation process starts.
