C02 Pressure Tester for D and S System 

Our CO2 pressure tester is an essential tool for ensuring the accuracy of your regulator gauges. With this tester, you can quickly check and calibrate your gauges to ensure they are functioning at 100% accuracy.

Installing this device into your dispensing setup helps balance your system against temperature fluctuations by providing precision pressures. It’s ideal for use with 0 – 60 PSI gauges and can be easily calibrated thanks to its ‘zero adjusting’ feature.

Process for Testing:

1. Check System for Pressure Leaks: Before using the tester, check your system for any pressure leaks. Inconsistent readings on the regulator gauge can indicate leaks.
2. Reset Gauge Pointer to Zero: If the tester gauge is not already at zero, follow these steps to reset it:
   • Remove the cover from the faceplate.
   • Place thumb and index finger on each pointer side close to the pivot point (hub).
   • Insert a small screwdriver into the slot at the pointer’s hub and lightly turn against the thumb and finger.
   • Release the pointer and continue adjusting until it rests at zero.
   • Re-attach the faceplate, and the tool is ready for use.
3. Testing CO2 Pressure:
   • Attach the tester to either a Sanke “D” or “S” keg coupler with the adapter or directly to the regulator’s or gas distributor’s shut-off.
   • For testing from the regulator, attach the 3/8″ OD hose barb to the appropriate-sized tubing and hook it up directly.
   • Ensure the shut-off valve is open on one side and closed on the other.
   • Apply pressure from the regulator and adjust if the regulator gauge is inaccurate.
